Congratulations to our Diablo Facebook Contest Winner

Jeri Ann May of Pleasanton wins a $50 gift certificate to Oakland's McMullen boutique—which is having a sweet trunk sale this weekend!

Congratulations to Jeri Ann May of Pleasanton, the winner of our Facebook contest for a $50 gift certificate to McMullen boutique on Oakland's Piedmont Avenue. If you're on Facebook, CLICK HERE to become a fan of Diablo magazine and have the opportunity to win cool Facebook-exclusive prizes from great East Bay spots such as McMullen and Bridges restaurant in Danville.

Speaking of McMullen, the Oakland store is hosting a cool little trunk show this Saturday, noon–4 p.m., featuring the designer jewelry of Roundtree & Richardson—shoppers can even customize a personal piece of jewelry.

McMullen also lent us some items for our Spring Fashion feature, and we asked Facebook contest entrants what their favorite items were from the collection. Here are a few of their answers:

The trenchcoat.  It's universal and best fit for my lifestyle as a stay-at-home Mom.
-Jeri Ann May, Pleasanton

Definitely the yellow Alice & Olivia cropped jacket. What a great spring color!! I would wear this to really get in the mood for summer!
-Liz Conant, Sacramento

I would choose the white skirt in the first photo. It is a basic piece, but because of it's fullness it has a fun personality. You could dress it up or down, for day  or even night. Perfect for the spring and summer seasons.
-Lynette Stone, Martinez

Well, it would be the Diane von Furstenberg shirt from McMullen Boutique, of course! It's pretty and feminine and looks like Spring!
-Mary Lee Shalvoy, Alameda

I would want Just Cavalli skirt, $440, at Macy's.  It's a skirt that I would like anyways, but I would have never considered styling it like Diablo Mag did for this shoot.  What an interesting and sophisticated way to wear a sequined leopard skirt!
-Laila Barsamian, Moraga
