A friend at the Kate Spade store in Walnut Creek's Broadway Plaza just sent me an e-mail about a cool sale they are having this month. If you bring any movie ticket stub into the store, it serves as a 20% off coupon for any item! I asked Diablo's movie reviewer, Pete Crooks, for his top three recommendations for movies to see in theaters to get a ticket stub. He said: Adventureland (now playing at the CineArts Pleasant Hill and Century Theaters Walnut Creek), I Love You, Man (now playing at the Orinda), and Star Trek 2: the Wrath of Khan, showing Tuesday night at the Alameda Theatre. Then I was like, "Um, geek much?" and asked him what he thought of Confessions of a Shopaholic or Hannah Montana: the Movie and he muttered someting about a cold day in hell and walked over to the printer.
