Fashion That Packs a Punch

Trade some jabs with designer/boxer hybrid Nellie Partow, as her trunk show rolls into Oakland’s McMullen boutique this Saturday.

McMullen boutique on Oakland's Piedmont Ave. is bringing you a sneak peak of a designer that really packs a punch.

Nellie Partow’s Trunk Show at McMullen offers you a preview of the designer’s fall 2009 collection, as well as a chance to meet Partow in person. But don’t feel relegated to just talking fashion. In addition to crafting clothes that leave you looking like a knockout, Partow can quite literally knock you out. She holds a champion boxing title from N.Y.C., but this Saturday she's taking the gloves off to personally highlight the rich colors and simple lines featured in her collections.
