‘Tis the Season … to Shop

Downtown Livermore gets into the holiday spirit this weekend with Christmas in July.

Holiday sales are a reason to celebrate, but who wants to wait ‘till the cold weather rolls around to shop? Well now there’s no need to, thanks to downtown Livermore celebrating Christmas early this year—in July to be exact. Participating retailers and merchants, including All About Me Kids Salon, Dana’s Bridal Gallery, Jillian’s Fine Gifts, Main Street Designs, Valley Furniture, and more will be featuring specials for the “holidays,” and the Summer Skating rink on J Street (between First & Second St.) will be open, with $5/half hour rates that include the ice skates. Enjoy your favorite holiday treats, entertainment and crafts, along with appearances by a number of special guests including, of course, Santa Claus. Look for the summer tube wreath on retailer’s doors to signify savings.

Christmas in July will be happening in Downtown Livermore Friday, July 24, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, July 25, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday July 26 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. For full details visit livermoredowntown.com or call (925) 373-1795.
