Stay warm all fall and winterlong with the warm and fuzzy sweaters in this Danville boutique

To stock up on comfy sweaters and jeans to tuck into your winter boots, look no further than Christina's. From the thick and fluffy to knits with big wooden buttons, the shop has you covered—literally—for the upcoming season.

The shop is a sister act: Christina, who runs the original three-year-old Merced store, is the original founder and Stephanie, a St. Mary’s College grad, runs the Danville location. The shops are visited by plenty of familiar faces every week who come to grab a bit of fashion advice from the owners, as they love helping customers piece together outfits.

"Our clothes are very versatile," says Stephanie. "A mom running around with three kids by day could find an [ensemble] to dress up for an evening out with her husband – and spend less than $200 on the whole thing."
 
Pair Jag jeans with a cozy Free People sweater; Tribal Sportswear with a studded baseball cap; or a Matty M. dress with brown lizard pumps by Yellowbox, and you’ll be good to go.
 
Who you’ll see here: Generally women aged 35 and above, but some looks (check out the cropped jackets) would suit a twenty-something. The styles cater to a woman on the go, including stay-at-home or working moms, and grandmothers.
 
What you can expect to find: An affordable outfit that’ll last you all day. In case it doesn’t, Christina’s also features The Laundress line of wool and cashmere shampoo, detergents, stain remover, etc.
 
Add personality to your outfit with jewelry from the featured Potluck Paris line: crafted by European artisans, each piece contains a unique blend of recycled silver, pewter, and copper. Or choose a fun handbag from the range of colors hanging off racks around the store.
 
Does your daughter need a Homecoming dress? The Danville store has a rack of lovely evening gowns and cute party dresses for a whopping 75% off. To prevent a wardrobe malfunction, the store also sells Pure Style Girlfriends products, including fashion tape and concealers.
 
Mark your calendar: There’s always a double sale rack near the dressing rooms, but your best bet is to join the mailing list. Sign up in-store to receive updates on promotions, sales, coupons, etc., including their annual sales. Christina's will also be participating in downtown Danville’s Pre-Holiday Shopping and Dining Event on Thursday, November 13th from 5 – 9 p.m. where select styles will be 20% off. Purchase tickets for $5 each at participating retailers to enjoy discounts, cookies, and refreshments. All proceeds will benefit local charities.
