I always like to point out what a great deal the double features at the Solano Drive-In in Concord are—especially on Tuesday evenings when admissions are just $4.75 per adult, kids 5–11 are just $1, and under 5 are free. But on Thursday, September 17, the deal gets even better—free. The Solano will be showing Pixar's Up (one of the best movies of 2009) and Night at the Museum 2 (did not see). Gates open at 6 p.m., and there wll be live music and kids' games before the movies roll.
