When was the city of Dublin (CA) founded?
James Witt Dougherty first bought the land for farming and ranching in 1853. The Dougherty Station Inn was built in 1862. By 1878, the settlement had grown to include a school, church, cemetery, and various stores, and was officially named Dublin. The city incorporated in 1982.
